Mengenal "Home Automation"

Home Automation atau biasa juga disebut Smarthome adalah suatu rumah yang dilengkapi dengan sistem  untuk mengintegrasikan dan mengontrol alat-alat elektronik yg ada dirumah, misalnya Lampu, TV, Home Theater, CCTV, Alarm, Kipas angin, Door Lock, Motion Sensor, dan masih banyak lagi. Tujuan dari sistem Home Automation mencakup kemudahan, efisiensi energi, keamanan, dan kenyamanan. Saat ini popularitas tentang konsep Home Automation sedang berkembang pesat, dan didukung dengan banyaknya perusahaan yang bergerak dibidang ini seperti control4, Crestron, AMX, knx, dynalite, dll.

Beberapa contoh hal yang bisa dilakukan dengan Home Automation :

1. Lampu, AC, Kipas Angin, TV, Radio, Speaker, bisa dinyalakan melalui satu remote control, komputer, Tablet PC, Smartphone, bahkan saat anda tidak berada dirumah (via Internet).
2. Bisa membuka/menutup tirai, mengunci pintu, menyalakan AC/Lampu,  secara otomatis.

4. Jika rumah dilengkapi sensor & detector, ketika terjadi kebakaran, kebocoran gas, banjir, atau hal lain secara otomatis alarm berbunyi dan sistem akan memberitahu anda melalu sms/email (Hal ini sangat penting apalagi jika anda tidak sedang dirumah).
5. Membuat skenario dan timer sesuai keinginan anda, misalkan pukul 6 sore lampu depan dan ruang keluarga menyala kemudian paginya mati secara otomatis. 
6. Memantau dan mengontrol seisi rumah anda melalui smartphone anda, misal anda lupa apakah sudah mengunci pintu atau apakah sudah mematikan lampu/AC.

Elemen pada Home Automation meliputi sensor (seperti temperatur, cahaya, atau gerak), controller (berfungsi ibarat server pada suatu jaringan komputer sebagai pusat sistem yang mengendalikan perangkat lain), dan aktuator seperti saklar lampu, motor listrik, dll.    Satu atau lebih perangkat antarmuka/interfaces dibutuhkan, karena melalui interfaces ini pemilik rumah bisa berinteraksi dan mengendalikan sistem. Tecorep, Metode Robohkan Gedung dari Jepang yang Efektif dan Ramah Lingkungan

TECOREP (sistem REProduksi Ekologikal Taisei)

Tecorep berasal dari perusahaan konstruksi Taisei yang berpusat di Tokyo. Sistem Reproduksi Ekologi Taisei, atau dikenal dengan Tecorep dapat membuat lingkungan kerja yang lebih aman, mengurangi kebisingan dan debu pada proses pekerjaan pembongkaran gedung. Metode Tecorep ini pertama kali diterapkan pada salah satu hotel Tokyo tertinggi yang ditutup pada Maret 2011,  Grand Prince Hotel Akasaka yang memiliki ketinggian 138,9 meter.

Kecerdasan buatan atau artificial intelligence ( AI) telah merambah industri furnitur. Kini dengan pengaplikasian teknologi, AI dapat digunakan untuk merancang kursi. 

Sebuah perusahaan perangkat lunak, Starck menggunakan software khusus yang dikembangkan oleh Autodesk untuk perusahaan furnitur Kartell. Teknologi ini diperkenalkan dalam ajang Milan Design Week 2019.

Ini adalah kursi pertama yang diproduksi menggunakan teknologi kecerdasan buatan yang berkolaborasi dengan manusia," ujar perusahaan tersebut.

Membuat jembatan dengan robot printer 3D pertama di dunia

Teknologi MX3D telah berkembang ke printer 3D yang dapat mencetak sebuah jembatan yang telah diujicobakan di Amsterdam.

Langkah MX3D ini merupakan penelitian dan pengembangan terbaru yang dilakukan tim Laarman dan Geurtjens.

Mereka merancang menggunakan robot untuk menghasilkan cetak (print) 3D jembatan baja.

"Dasar-dasar teknologi ini cukup sederhana," Laarman menjelaskan dalam film, yang difilmkan di bengkel MX3D di Amsterdam. "Kami menggunakan robot industri yang biasanya digunakan dalam lini perakitan di industri mobil. Kami telah menggabungkan ini dengan mesin las dan software kita sendiri untuk memilikinya 3D mencetak dalam logam."

Robot enam-sumbu yang MX3D beradaptasi mampu memutar lengan mereka bersama enam pesawat yang berbeda dari gerakan. Mereka membangun struktur dengan menyetorkan sejumlah kecil baja berlapis-lapis.

Tidak seperti printer 3D tradisional, robot dapat menghasilkan struktur yang lebih besar dengan memindahkan seluruh setelah dicetak.

"Kau tidak dibatasi oleh ukuran, sehingga kita secara teoritis dapat mencetak tanpa henti besar," kata Laarman.

Dibantu Sony dan Autodesk, drone ini mampu buat peta 3D

Drone sedang sangat 'booming' saat ini, dan berbagai perusahaan yang memproduksi robot udara ini makin kompetitif agar produk mereka makin laris. Seperti salah satu perusahaan asal Amerika Serikat ini, yang memproduksi drone dengan kemampuan istimewa.

Dilansir dari The Verge (7/3), 3D Robotics, salah satu perusahaan pembuat drone, mengumumkan kerjasamanya dengan Autodesk dan Sony, untuk memproduksi drone dengan versi 'high-end.' Drone ini mampu memindai sebuah lokasi, dan mengunggah model 3D atau peta 3D yang bisa langsung diakses oleh yang berkepentingan.

AxiDraw Mesin Pembuat Gambar dan Tulisan Tangan

Evil Mad Scientist, perusahaan keluarga yang berbasis di California telah merancang sebuah mesin pembuat gambar dan tulisan tangan bernama AxiDraw.

Mungkin akan menjadi mesin pertama di dunia yang dapat meniru tulisan tangan seseorang dan mengerjakannya secara otomatis.

AxiDraw merupakan mesin yang sangat fleksibel, dirancang untuk melayani kebutuhan pengguna sehari-hari dalam menggambar atau menulis.

Setiap orang dapat menggunakannya untuk hampir semua tugas yang mungkin biasanya dilakukan dengan pena genggam.

Moley Robotics Sukses Membuat Robot Ahli Memasak

Moley Robotics, sebuah perusahaan asal Inggris, berhasil membuat prototipe dapur konsep yang dapat membuat masakan layaknya seorang koki ahli. Prototipe dapur konsep ini terdiri dari sebuah oven, kompor, sebuah unit touchscreen, dan sepasang lengan robot.

Tangan dari robot ini dilengkapi dengan sensor sehingga ia dapat memotong, mengaduk, dan menuang bahan masakan. Ia juga dapat menggunakan blender atau alat memasak lainnya.

Untuk membuat prototipe ini, Moley Robotics merekam teknik memasak Tim Anderson, salah satu pemenang MasterChef, ke dalam sebuah video 3D. Video 3D ini lalu diubah menjadi sekumpulan kode yang menjadi bagian dari sang robot koki sehingga ia dapat meniru gerakan Anderson.



Business Insider menyebutkan, dapur buatan Moley Robotics ini dapat dioperasikan melalui unit touchscreen yang ada atau melalui aplikasi smartphone. Saat ini, ia hanya dapat membuat satu masakan yaitu crab bisque. Tetapi, di tahun 2018, saat versi konsumen dari prototipe ini diluncurkan, pengguna akan dapat memilih masakan yang ingin dimasak dari lebih dari 2.000 resep yang berasal dari berbagai negara di dunia.

"Makanan adalah bagian utama dari hidup yang berkualitas. Tujuan saya adalah untuk membuat hidup seseorang menjadi lebih baik, lebih sehat dan lebih bahagia," kata Mark Oleynik, pendiri dari Moley Robotics.
